Filming for the new special will (probably) begin next summer. It should be a special like The Promised Land, not a series/season.
[Note: Filming has not yet been officially confirmed by Doug Naylor, U, BBC, or any other company. If it airs on U&Dave, it could potentially be released as a two-parter for streaming, like TPL.]
